How to Book Accommodation with Us

Accommodation for the 2026/2027 School Year

Applications for admission to KDM may be submitted by the legal guardians of underage applicants; adult students apply on their own behalf. The application form is available at the main office or here on our website. The completed form must be sent electronically to studentky@kdm.cz. Once received, you will be assigned a reference number and we will be in touch.

Admission is governed by a points-based system: age (0–5 points), distance of home address from school (0–6 points), and social criteria (up to 0.5 points). In the event of a tie, priority is determined by the date the application was received.

For 2026/27, 16 girls and 1 boy will be accepted. Students from private secondary schools and higher vocational schools are also welcome to apply. We do not accept university students or participants in one-year post-secondary courses. International students are accepted in limited numbers only, and weekend accommodation is not guaranteed.

The admissions process closes on 29 May; results will be published in the first half of June (by reference number). Unsuccessful applicants may, with their consent, be placed on a waiting list.

We reserve the right not to accept students who do not meet the criteria set out in Decree No. 108/2005 Coll., § 4.

By submitting the completed application form and paying the deposit, a binding accommodation contract for one school year is established between KDM and the student.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Frequently Asked Questions about Accommodation

We would also like to take this opportunity to introduce our educational philosophy at the youth residence. Our approach to education is grounded in Christian values and Catholic principles, with an emphasis on responsibility, independence, and mutual cooperation. Because the individual development of each student's potential is important to us, we provide a level of personalised care that goes beyond what is typically offered at other boarding facilities. A spirit of mutual trust and support among all parties involved is therefore essential to the success of our educational approach. A prerequisite for admission to the Christian Youth Residence at St. Ludmila is acceptance of our individually focused educational approach, agreement to the monitoring of academic results and school attendance, and a commitment to full transparency regarding all matters that may affect a student's upbringing — including information about their state of health (including any mental health difficulties).
